Case files for the murder of Bridget Findlay

I would be obliged if I could be furnished with copies of the investigation files and any other information pertaining to the investigation of the murder of a Bridget Findlay of Kelvin Drive, Airdrie, murdered on 7th October 1973 and found by a passerby on a layby near Bargeddie, just off the A8 Glasgow-Edinburgh.

Dear FOI, Dundee,

Thank you for your response. I anticipated that to be the case and would like to ask the following questions for clarification:
- Can you confirm this is still an open/active case?
- Can you confirm this case is, or has been, treated as a murder case?

My interest came from reading old newspaper articles and coming across it and was unsure if it was ever solved, however, I'm completely at ease and understanding of Police Scotland's rules and hope that should this still be an open case that one day it gets solved.
