Please provide the following information under the Freedom of Information Act  2000. 

1) The number of racist incidents recorded  which occurred at Astrea Dearne, formerly known as Dearne ALC, over the last 2 years. Was a monitoring form completed for each of these incidents? 

2) Any information on programs, already implemented or planned, to prevent racist incidents at the school for the past 2 years.  

3) An explanation of the procedure and policies for dealing with racist incidents at the school

4) What sources are available for students and teachers who suffer from racist incidents in your school for the past 2 years

I am writing to request an internal review of The Dearne Advanced Learning Centre, Rotherham's handling of my FOI request 'Racist incidents'.

At the time of the racist incidents identified in the FOI response the school was not a member of Astrea Academy Trust but under the control of BMBC. The policies provided by HR in their response are irrelevant for that time period.

Can the school advise whether a separate monitoring form was completed for each racist incident and returned to BMBC as well as the statutory s175 Annual Head teacher's Safeguarding Report which is simply a report of all exclusions.

Prior to the school becoming part of the trust, how did the school seek to tackle racism? Did the school link with "Show racism the Red Card" prior to becoming an academy?
The response highlights at least one instance of racist abuse to staff. What measures were taken to ensure the staff member's well-being following the racist incident?

Was the school able to recognise extremism and was this reflected in their prevent policy. Can a copy of the prevent policy, prior to the school becoming part of the trust, be published.

Can the policy and procedures implemented by Dearne ALC for racist incidents be published. These are the policies and procedures prior to becoming an academy.

With respect to Q4, what is the policy where the staff wellbeing lead or line manager has wilfully ignored concerns from staff and supply staff with regards to racist abuse.
