Dear Ms Beaumont,
FOI0108 – Request for Information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (“FOIA”).
I write further to your correspondance, dated 03 June 2019, requesting the following information under
the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
“Please can you provide me with your total agency spend so far in the 2018/2019 academic year along
with a breakdown of which agencies that have been used and how much has been spent per agency.
Please also provide the total spend for permanent recruitment at the college, including the split between
advertising, agency fees (including which agencies) and transfer fees etc.”
Activate Learning has considered this request and can confirm that under Section 1 of the Freedom of
Information Act 2000 the information is contains within a spreadsheet which has been attached to this
response email. Please note that where individuals’ names exist within the spreadsheet, these names
have been redacted due to data protection legislation.
Activate Learning does not record the total spend for permanent recruitment. Most of this total will be
covered by the Recruitment Fees detailed in the spreadsheet provided, however some of the total will
form part of our annual subscription to the Association of Colleges.
I trust you are satisfied with this information which has been provided to you within 20 days, however if
you are not satisfied with the way your request has been handled you have the right under Section 17
of the Act to ask for an internal review. This should be addressed to:
