about grounds maintenance. Please find below Doncaster Council’s responses to the
questions you have raised.
1. Is grounds maintenance (ie mowing, tree work, weed spraying etc) work undertaken by
in-house teams or contracted out?
Grounds maintenance work is carried out by our in-house Street Scene team.
2. Who is responsible for managing in-house grounds maintenance teams or contractors?
Management of the team is carried out by Street Scene Operations Managers; the
Principal Operations Manager and the Head of Service.

4. What is the annual grounds maintenance budget?
The budget for Street Scene includes all street cleansing work as well as grounds
maintenance work and unfortunately this element cannot be split out.
5. Do you receive additional Government, non-profit or voluntary donations, specifically for
grounds maintenance tasks?
No
Doncaster Council estimate that it has cost £25.00 to respond to this request for
information.
