Dear Sir/Madam Environmental Information Regulations 2004
Your request for information has been considered by Warwickshire County Council
under the Environmental Information Regulations 2004.
I am writing to advise you that the information you have requested is not held by
Warwickshire County Council. This is because, in your request, you are seeking
information concerning a service which is actioned by the local District and Borough
Councils, rather than us as a County Council. Please see below for further details.
Therefore regulation 12(4)(a) applies to your request. Regulation 12(4)(a) provides an
exception to the duty to disclose information when information is not held.
You asked us; I would like to know whether the Authority has carried out any form of bin survey
over the past five years.
Can the Authority provide the number of bin surveys it has conducted in each
calendar year since 2014?
If applicable, can the Authority also provide the number of households subject to
bin surveys in the same period?
For clarity, a bin survey is used to identify the types of rubbish being thrown
away by households or which bins are being used, or both.
For this information you will need to contact the District and Borough Councils directly.
Contact details for these councils are available via their respective websites:
Warwick District Council –
Stratford-upon-Avon District Council –
Rugby Borough Council –
Nuneaton & Bedworth Borough Council –
North Warwickshire Borough Council – http://www.northwarks.gov.uk/info/200162/data_protection_freedom_of_information_etc

if you have any queries.
