Dear Police Scotland,

Your response is surprising. A year ago, 13/12/17, reference IM-FOI-2017-2650, you (Louise Elliot), confirmed the number of violations in North Queensferry, Inverkeithing and Rosyth. This year you have confirmed that the Safety Camera Unit no longer operates in these areas. Can you let me know when the Safety Camera Unit ceased to operate in these areas, or does that have to be the subject of a separate FOI request.

I find it astounding that your position seems to be that there is no enforcement action whatsoever by Police Scotland of the speed limits in these areas. That said, it does explain the wilful non-observance.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Yours faithfully,

Steven Love
