Incidents involving the illegal riding of Motorcycles on the tramside path in West Bridgford
Dear Nottinghamshire Police,
I belong to a cycling organisation, Pedals, and we are repeatedly informed about youths on motorbikes using the tramside path between the Wilford Lane Tramstop and the Southchurch Drive North Tramstop in the Compton Acres - Clifton area.
As this is a designated cycle path, and the cycle path is seen to be the cause of this type of anti-social behaviour, complaints are sometimes sent to us.
I have looked at the Crime Map and I have not been able to identify a single recorded incident involving the illegal riding of motorcycles on the tramside cycle path . This may the due to the fact that they could be classified under the general heading of "anti-social behaviour" and the motorcyclists could have also been reported for using other paths illegally in the area.
I would like some verification of my findings.
Please can you provide me with the number of reported complaints about motorcyclists specifically using the tramside path between the Wilford Lane Tramstop and the Southchurch Drive North Tramstop between June 1st 2018 and November 20th 2018, and whether the police has intervened, or increased surveillance as a result.
Yours faithfully,
Paul Abel
