Paul Ponting, legal costs following abuse by police

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, Lancashire Constabulary should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear Lancashire Constabulary,

BACKGROUND:
I note from this blog and news reports that you have paid out £35k in damages and the Chief Constable has issued an apology for the disgraceful treatment of the victim, Mr Paul Ponting.
https://iaingould.co.uk/2018/10/01/35000...

"The Chief Constable wishes to apologise to you for the way the incident on 18 June 2014 was handled.

The Chief Constable hopes that now your action against the Force has been settled you will be able to regain your health and, in time, your faith in Lancashire Constabulary."

REQUESTS:
I would like to see the final PSD reports and IOPC reports into the abuse.
I would like a FULL breakdown of the legal costs, both your costs and the victim's costs.
I would like to see the report by the constable who used the irritant spray on the victim for using the spray.
According to this media report:
https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/news/liv...
""During the strip- search an officer, believed to be PS Eckersely, called the Claimant a "Paedo" and touched the Claimant's anus."

I would like all data held showing why the verbal and sexual abuse was justified.
I would like details of all disciplinary action taken by you against those who abused the victim.
I would like the dates of all future misconduct hearings.

Yours faithfully,

Edward Williams
