Freedom of Information request – RFI20181833
Thank you for your request to the BBC of 1st October 2018, seeking the following
information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000:
“Did the cast of the BBC Earth series Tarsier Tails survive the earthquake and tsunami on the
island of Sulawesi?”
Please note that BBC Earth is owned by BBC Studios. BBC Studios is a commercial subsidiary
of the BBC. BBC Studios is not subject to the Freedom of Information Act by virtue of
section 6(1)(b)(ii) and therefore the information you have requested falls outside the scope of
the Act.
That said, the BBC makes a huge range of information available about our programmes and
content on bbc.co.uk. We also proactively publish information covered by the Act on our
publication scheme and regularly handle requests for information under the Act.
