4. Are the NHSCT meeting their obligations under ASRMAIT N.I.?
The NHSCT are committed to taking forward their obligations under ASRMAIT.
Following a very successful multiagency workshop led by the NHSCT in September
2017, work is ongoing in respect of a local action plan.
5. Are the NHSCT meeting their targets on both the Adult and Child ASD
Pathway?
Children
Given the significant increase in demand for Autism services the NHSCT is currently
not meeting the assessment and intervention waiting time targets.
Adults
The NHSCT is currently compliant with the NI Adult ASD Care Pathway.

There were 1195 children discharged recorded as Not ASD between 01/10/2011 and
31/08/2018.
(There were 1351 discharged with various other reasons but with neither a positive
nor negative diagnosis of ASD between 01/10/2011 and 31/08/2018).

10. How many, both children and adults in total have been on the waiting list
(including those already assessed) since the ASD Pathway was implemented?
At October 2011 there were 246 children open to the service.
Between 01/10/2011 and 31/08/2018 there were 7446 referrals to the Paediatric
ASD Diagnostic service.
Between 01/10/2011 and 31/08/2018 there were 852 accepted referrals received by
the Adult Diagnostic Service.
