Diane Russell,

Dear Mr Johnstone

VTS 04-20-287

We have received your request for information under the Freedom of
Information Act .

Having checked the database of VT decisions, we do not hold any relating
to 4 Hook Hill CR2 0LA. This means that if there was a decision on it, it
pre-dated the introduction of the database in 1999. Unfortunately, we are
therefore unable to provide the decision. I note that you made the same
request in January this year on 14 Hook Hill. There are no appeal records
for any address in Hook Hill or indeed for postcode CR2 0LA on our
database.

By law (Valuation Tribunal for England (Council Tax and Rating Appeals)
(Procedure) Regulations 2009 SI 2009 No 2269, regulation 41, and earlier
legislation) we only have to keep records of decision for six years from
the date they were completed. In practice, because there has not been a
council tax revaluation, we have retained them from 1999.

If you have any complaint about the way we have dealt with your request
you may apply for an internal review. Please write, within four weeks of
receiving this response, quoting the reference number above and giving
your reasons, to:

Senior Information Risk Owner
Chief Executive’s Office
Valuation Tribunal Service
2nd Floor
120 Leman Street
London E1 8EU.

He will investigate and respond within 20 working days of receipt of your
complaint.  If you remain dissatisfied you have a right to refer the
matter to the Information Commissioner.  We will give you further
information with the response.

Kind regards
Diane Russell
