Question 9: What activities are being undertaken to prepare all appropriate staff for the
implementation of the revised National Framework for NHS Continuing Healthcare which takes effect
from 1st October 2018?
Response to Q9: Training has been arranged for all Senior Managers within the Continuing
Healthcare (CHC) Team at Midlands and Lancashire Commissioning Support Unit. Senior Managers
will cascade information to team members respectively. CCG staff will also attend relevant training
courses if appropriate.
