Policy on Birth Parents Amending Adopted Child's Birth Certificate
Dear Northern Ireland Statistics and Research Agency,
I wish to request the following information under the Freedom of Information Act.
1/What procedures do you follow when dealing with applications made by Birth Parents to amend their adopted Child's birth Certificate?
2/What legislation do you adhere to when dealing with applications made by Birth Parents to add the Birth Father's name to their adopted child's Birth Certificate?
3/ What is the protocol when dealing with applications made by Birth parents to add the Birth Fathers name to their adopted child's birth certificate, in the circumstances where the Birth parents have married following the adoption of their child.
