Dear Sam,

 

Thank you for your request for information received by The University of
Manchester on 04 June 2018 which was as follows:

 

1. The type of commercial relationship between the University of
Manchester and 2D Consulting Ltd

 

2. The nature of the product or service provided

 

3. The term of the relationship including, the value of each contract, the
expiry date and the nature of the outcome of each contract

 

4. The competitive process of allocating work to this company

 

The University has now considered your request and our response can be
found below.

 

1.       Engagement contract for the provision of services.

2.       Professional consultancy services to advise on graphene
commercialisation activities.

3.       The relationship was initially for 18 months expiring in February
2018, but is now subject to a rolling 3 months renewal.  The contract is
valued on a per day rate, based on time worked.  The outcomes vary
depending on the nature of the services requested.

4.       We did not go out to competitive tender on this given the
estimated costs and specialist nature of the work.
