Stretcher use / Frequency of immoblisation

Dear North East Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust,

I have some questions regarding emergency medical situations that I am hoping you can provide answers too.

Firstly, how many NHS double-crewed ambulances are operating in Hampshire and how many RRV's are there?

If possible, I would also like to know how frequently a stretcher is used to move a patient when an Ambulance or RRV has been deployed. For example out of 100 ambulance deployments, how many times would a stretcher be utilised? Either for part of the journey/treatment or for the entire patient journey to A&E. I would also like to know how often immobilisation of patients is required. The most recent figures and statistics you can provide for this would be ideal.

Any information or figures that help answer these questions would be greatly appreciated.

I am seeking clarification in respect of your FOI request, before it is acknowledged, in order that NEAS may consider if it holds any information.

You are asking about how many double-crewed ambulances are operating in "Hampshire" and how many RRV's are there. As NEAS does not operate in Hampshire I am assuming you are seeking this information for all or one of the areas we do operate in. Our data is gathered by "divisions" and I attach a map for your information. Do you wish information in respect of "North", "Central", "South" or the whole Trust.
