FOI request diesel filling 
I write in response to your recent request for information and I repeat your questions (in 
italics) to assist with the interpretation of the reply. 
Q1. Please provide the number of diesel vehicles currently operated by the Council 
and the number of occasions any of these vehicles has been misfilled with petrol 
requiring unscheduled servicing during each of the last two years. 

Approx 210 units with Fraikin on contract hire.  On average 6 incidents per annum petrol 
put into a diesel vehicle.  
Q2. Please provide the total direct cost associated with the mis-fuelling events. 
Average cost per event £500 + VAT 
Q3. If the motor vehicles are owned/maintained by a leasing company please 
provide the name of the leasing company
