NHS England holds recorded information in relation to this request.

 

Whilst NHS England has regional teams these are broken down by Directors
of Commissioning operation (DCO) areas.  As such geographically the North
West covers several different and distinct DCOs and NHS England has
interpreted this request to include Greater Manchester DCO, Cheshire and
Mersey DCO and Lancashire and South Cumbria DCO.

 

Please find attached a spreadsheet detail Directors within Greater
Manchester DCO, Cheshire and Mersey DCO and Lancashire and South Cumbria
DCO.

 

Please be aware that the director team serving Greater Manchester has a
broader range of direct responsibilities than those solely related to the
functions of NHS England following the Devolution Agreement in 2016. In
addition to undertaking NHS England’s responsibilities in relation to
commissioning, assurance and care quality, the GM team directly oversee
and support the transformation of services across health and social care
on behalf of the GM Health & Social Care Partnership. This includes
oversight and management of the GM Transformation Fund.
