I can confirm that the information requested is held by Brent Council. I have detailed below the 
information that is being released to you.
 
 
1. A spreadsheet of details of all contracts between your local authority and Emmaus UK or any of its 
individual branches in your area that were signed after 6 April 2013. Those details should include: 
a. Date contract signed 
b. Total value of contract 
c. Summary of services rendered by contract 
2. A copy of each of the contracts included in point 1. 
Public interest arguments 
Section 2 of the Freedom of Information Act states that information should be disclosed whereby: 'in 
all 
circumstances in the case, the public interest in maintaining the exemption outweighs the public 
interest in 
disclosing the information.' 
● There is a general public interest in promoting transparency, accountability, and public 
understanding. 
I would like to receive the information in electronic copy but if this is not possible I would be more than 
happy to receive the information in hard copy and/or inspect the documents on site. 
I would like to receive in any information held by your department regarding my request , including a 
register of datasets from which this information is drawn. 
I understand that I do not have to specify particular files or documents and that it is the department's 
responsibility to provide the information I require.
 
 
 
1. We can confirm, Brent Housing Needs service, does not have any contractual relationships 
with Emmaus UK.
