Dear Ms Miller

We write further to your email of 8th November 2017

Your request has been processed by us in accordance with the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA).

Our response:

Student Support is provided by numerous services and teams across BU including academic tutors, faculty and Student Services professional services staff, and our Student Wellbeing service which is provided for BU by Dorset Healthcare University Foundation Trust. Because of the large volume and varied nature of student contacts across faculties and support services we do not keep detailed statistics for any of these areas other than Student Wellbeing. DHUFT have agreed that BU may provide these to you on their behalf. However please note that this is only a fraction of the support that is offered by BU and doesn’t provide the full picture about the range of support offered by BU. For information about all support services offered please see our website at https://www1.bournemouth.ac.uk/students/... , https://www1.bournemouth.ac.uk/students/... and https://www1.bournemouth.ac.uk/about/pro...

Please note we the below relates to the numbers of referrals (registration forms) received. Not all students will then get back to us to accept their initial assessment appointment. Of the students who have attended their initial appointment, we have provided a breakdown of presenting problem for 2016/17 and 2015/16 (attached) we do not hold the a breakdown for 2014/15.
