3. The type of agreements held with private domiciliary care providers commissioned to deliver Adult Social Care services such as frameworks, Spot Contracts, Block Contracts etc and their start/end dates
4. The lowest and highest (based on the standard daytime week day rate) charge rates per hour of domiciliary care charged to the local authority for Adult Social care commissioned through private domiciliary care providers

Care through private domiciliary care providers (Based on 2016)

Answer          £17,309,916 per annum

 

Q3       The type of agreements held with private domiciliary care
providers commissioned to deliver Adult Social Care services such as
frameworks, Spot Contracts, Block Contracts etc and their start/end dates

Answer          All contracts are spot; we have 3 tiers of contract –
Lead, Approved and Spot. Contracts commenced 27/10/14 and run to 26/10/19.
There are extension options of up to 24 months, so a potential end date of
26/10/21.

authority for Adult Social care commissioned through private domiciliary

Answer          Lowest rate; £16.40. Highest rate £18.64

Answer          Until a decision is made with regards to the extension
options contained within the current contract we cannot confirm
retendering plans. We will discuss the option of taking up extension
options in November 2017.

monitoring system. Providers use a variety of systems.

Answer          1499 service users are in receipt of DPs – as we do not
prescribe how need is met when using a DP we cannot confirm how many of
the 1499 are used for domiciliary care solutions / number of hours
provided.

Answer          Yes
