Council did not exist until April 2009, so we have no access to past financial records
Our financial system does not break down schools asbestos costs separately to other
council’s buildings.

The department does not hold this information because the department does not
protect an allocation of funding for the removal of asbestos. As asbestos removal
works are covered by the capital funding programmes listed above, the Department
does not allocate a separate budget for this purpose; and there are no plans to do so
in future years.
