School supply agency spend for 2016/2017

Q1: Please provide me with a ful breakdown of the spend for the last school
academic year 2016/2017 of al temporary/supply staff in schools throughout

used to obtain these services and the total that each school has spent with each

The Council holds this information. Please see the attached spreadsheet, “FOI-1718-
0443A1.xlsx” for Primary Schools, and “FOI-1718-0443A2.xlsx” for Secondary Schools.
Please note, the information provided for the academic year 16/17 is based on the
transactions in the General Ledger from 1st September 16 to 21st July 17.
It should be noted that Southampton City Council do not hold information on spend
for Academy Schools or Independent or Free Schools and, to that end no information
for these can be supplied. The amounts shown for Primary and Secondary are for
Maintained Schools only.
Similarly, 4 Schools which although are Maintained Schools do not use Southampton
City Council systems, therefore a breakdown of supplier information cannot be
