Dear Ms Glanville,

Thank you for your response, which I reproduce below :

"I refer to your request of 22 October 2011 under the FOIA. You stated the following:

In Cabinet paper "LDL Contract Refresh Proposal" submitted on 29th June 2011, the following statement is made:

"The refresh proposal also includes enhanced performance targets and proposed governance protocols including the following . . .

An increase in the shareholding of LDL by the City Council from 19.9% to 40%"

Has this taken place? If not, on which date will the City Council own 40% of LDL?

I can confirm the Council does not hold the information at this time.

To clarify this further the increase in the shareholding of LDL by LCC from 19.9% to 40% was agreed as part of the Contract Refresh and the transfer of shares to effect the increase will take place when the variation to the Contract Documentation is finalised.

This concludes our response to your enquiry."

I think that you are saying that the contract refresh with LDL has not yet been signed. I must confess that I hadn't realised that this was the case.

Yours sincerely,

Jenny Griffin
