The document you requested was sent to Ben Bradshaw MP (a Minister in this Department at the time) in June 2004. We have located a hard copy of it, rather than an electronic copy of it.

As the document consists of nearly 200 pages (the text is single-sided), and it contains numerous graphics/illustrations/photos, it will take a long time to scan the document so that we can send it to you electronically. In addition, it would be a very large document to email to you. Therefore, we will not be sending the document to you electronically.

We have photocopied the document double-sided, so that it consists of nearly 100 pages. Please provide a full postal address for us to send it to.

I know that you want my full postal address. I have a good grasp of English, and fully understood your sentence, "Please provide a full postal address for us to send it to," which you send on April 13th. I do not need you to badger me for it.

In fact, I will not be providing my postal address, but rather I request an Internal Review about your handling of this case.

I have emailed Shechita UK myself, and received a copy of their submission, by email. It is a 17-page PDF file. I don't know what 200-page illustrated document you are referring to, but you are either mistaken or lying.

Your failure to provide the requested material by email is clearly illegal under Section 11 of the FOIA; an electronic copy is patently practicable, since I have received one from another source without any problems.

Please reply so I know that you are working on the Review.

I do not carry out internal reviews. The annex to Geoff Webdale's letter of 12 April explained how you request an internal review - you need to write to Clive Porro at the address given.
