Dear Jon Irwin,
FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT 2000 - INFORMATION REQUEST
Thank you for your request for information received by the Council on 10th February 2016. It has been
assessed and the following information is provided in response: Re: - Information on S106 funds
Please can you provide a breakdown relating to the s106 funds that have been available for
the council over the previous 3 financial years, and how much of those monies have been
Ealing commits all S106 funding annually. Please see attached Cabinet reports from the last 3 years;
the detail is in the schedules.
Further to this, section 106 funds, as I understand it, have a time limit which if the council
has not used the funds in the given time then the funds lapse, or are no longer available to
be spent by the council.
Please provide the values for the lapsed section 106 funds in the past 3 financial years. A
breakdown per year would be ideal, eg £XXXX lapsed in 2012/13.
Some S106s have time limits; others do not. Generally these are, if they exist, 5 years or occasionally
3. Al Ealing’s S106 funds are committed to projects by Cabinet annually. Therefore the values for
lapsed section 106 funds in the past 3 financial years is zero.
