Dear Westminster City Council,

I am writing to you today as a year 10 pupil to use your property; Hyde Park. I am throwing a music festival where many people will be attending. This is for my year 10 GCSE coursework and this just hypothetical. I am wondering if i was to use Hype park as a venue for this how much would it cost me to do so, including fees for noise pollution and tidying up after all included with all other possible fees and how many people could attended. I would much appreciate if you could to respond as quick as possible.

We are dealing with your request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000
and we aim to send a response by 17 July 2015.

I think I should leap in here to point out that Hyde Park is not owned by Westminster City Council but by the Crown.

Westminster City Council don't manage Hyde Park either. That's the Royal Parks Agency: https://www.royalparks.org.uk/

David is of course quite correct about the ownership of the Park. However, any application for a licence to put on public entertainment would have to go to Westminster City Council to determine.
