Dear Mr White,
Freedom of Information request – RFI20150844 Thank you for your request to the BBC of 23rd May, seeking the following information under the
Freedom of Information Act 2000 (the “Act”):
“…the last date that any part of BBC Worldwide was operational from Foley
Street”
The information you request is held by BBC Worldwide, the commercial arm, and a wholly owned
subsidiary of the BBC. BBC Worldwide’s purpose is to maximise the value of the BBC's assets for
the benefit of the licence fee payer by creating, acquiring, developing and exploiting media content
and brands around the world.
As a commercial subsidiary of the BBC, BBC Worldwide is not subject to the Freedom of
Information Act by virtue of section 6(1)(b)(ii). However, outside of the Act, BBC Worldwide is
happy to confirm the date was 29th March 2015.
We appreciate you might be disappointed not to receive the information requested but we hope
you find this response helpful.

As BBC Worldwide is not subject to the Act, the BBC does not offer the option of an internal
review of the handling of your request. If you wish to appeal the handling of your request you
must address this to the Information Commissioner. The contact details are: The Information
