Dear Historic Buildings and Monuments Commission for England,

This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act.

Could you please supply me with information regarding the visitors'
flow at Stonehenge?

Here's the information I need:

- the number of visitors hour per hour (or time slot per time slot, whichever is available). A sample of two months' data will be enough, any months of year 2014 or 2015, including August if possible.

- the number of visitors per day (a sample of two months' data will be enough, any months of year 2014 or 2015).

- the total number of visitors per month for the year 2014.

No personal information needed, just the number of visitors per hour/per day.

I would be grateful if you could supply this information in the form of Excel file.

Thank you for your request sent on the 21 May 2015.  You have asked for
the following information relating to visitor figures for Stonehenge :-

-       The number of visitors hour per hour (or time slot per time slot,
whichever is available).  A sample of two months data will be enough, any
months of year 2014 or 2015 including August if possible.

be enough, any months of year 2014 or 2015).

-       The total number of visitors per month for the year 2014.

You have asked for this information to be supplied as an Excel file.

 

Your request will be considered under the Freedom of Information Act 2000
/ Environmental Information Regulations 2004.  We will be writing to you
within the statutory 20 working day timeframe with a response to your
request.  You will be informed if this is not possible.

 

For information, on the 01 April 2015 English Heritage split into two
organisations: Historic England is a government service championing
England’s heritage and giving expert advice; the English Heritage Trust is
a charity caring for the National Heritage Collection of more than 400
historic properties and their collections.  The Information Rights team
continue to handle requests for both organisations.
