MPs have criticised the Post Office .

The request was successful.

Dear Post Office Limited,

MPs have criticised the Post Office for how it has handled claims its IT system caused at least 150 sub-postmasters to be wrongly accused of false accounting and fraud.

Sight of all correspondence with MPs with regard to withdrawn support for a Post Office mediation scheme?

Yours faithfully,

Pat Aspinall

The 150 Subpostmasters you refer to in your request are the only ones who completed an application form during the 12 weeks the Scheme was open for applications. There are significantly more new cases that have come along since the Scheme closed that would have applied for it if they had been aware of the Scheme at that time. A number of MPs have written to Post Office on this very point or raised it with the Minister for Postal Affairs during the Adjournment Debate held in Westminster Hall on 17th December 2014.

More information and a link to watch the Adjournment Debate can be found on the recently updated jfsa.org.uk website.
