Freedom of Information request - 32574

Dear Mr Young,

Thank you for your e-mail of 3rd August, in which you ask for information on a named
individual. Your request has been handled as a request for information under the Freedom
of Information Act 2000.

Your full request can be found in Annex A.

The Home Office neither confirms nor denies holding  the information you  requested, by
virtue of section 40(5)(a) and (b)(ii) of the FOI Act.  This absolves the responsibility to
confirm or deny holding information, where to do so would contravene any of the data
protection principles covered by the Data Protection Act 1998.  This response should not
be taken as conclusive evidence that the information you have requested is or is not held
by the Home Office.

If you are dissatisfied with this response you may request an independent internal review
of our handling of your request by submitting a complaint within two months to the address
below, quoting reference 32574. If you ask for an internal review, it would be helpful if you
could say why you are dissatisfied with the response.
