Correspondence related to beavers in British waterways

We're waiting for J Field to read a recent response and update the status.

Please can I be sent copies of all DEFRA correspondence from the last six months (email, letter, memo) which discuss beavers in British waterways directly.

Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra).  This is an automatic

deadline will count from the date that Defra receives the £10 fee (if a
fee is required) and/or any further information reasonably required to
locate the information.

I apologise but we have missed the relevant deadline for us to respond to your request. It is not our usual practice to take longer than the time allowed for response in the relevant legislation and I am sorry that on this occasion we have not been able to meet our usual standards. We are currently experiencing a high number of EIRs/FOIA requests making it difficult to respond within the deadlines. The Department is taking action to address this issue but, in the meantime, your request is being progressed as quickly as possible. We aim to be able to respond to you by 19th September. If for some reason this proves impossible, we shall let you know.
