Briefing document for Balcombe anti-fracking protests 2013

The request was refused by Sussex Police.

Dear Sussex Police,

This request was first submitted on January 23rd 2014. It was refused because Sussex Police said my collective requests to the force, which included three other requests, exceeded the reasonable time limit set by the FOI Act. Following a conversation with Roger Brace, I withdrew the request.

I am now resubmitting it 60 days after its first submission. The details of the request are as follows:

I should be grateful if you would supply the Sussex Police briefing document compiled during and after the anti-fracking protests outside Cuadrilla's oil exploration site at London Road, Balcombe during the summer of 2013.

I understand that the document was compiled in order to learn from the policing operation and to benefit future planning.

I also understand that the document was intended to be shared with interested parties.

Yours faithfully,

Ruth Hayhurst

Sussex Police
