response due to a high volume of governance case work coupled with limited
staff resource, I hope this has not inconvenienced you. Your request has

As you may have seen, this information is available publically on our
website therefore this is exempt from release under Section 25(1)
obtainable other than by requesting.
2. Number of applicants (all postgraduate programmes)

3. Number of offers made (all postgraduate programmes)
11640
4. Number of Chinese applications and offers made (all postgraduate
programmes)
We do not hold applicant ethnicity data, therefore this information is
exempt from release under Section 17 of the Freedom of Information
(Scotland) Act 2002 – Information not held. We would only gather
ethnicity data once a student has enrolled. Details of this can be found
publically on our website at this following page:

If you are looking for the ethnicity of applicants, it may be worth
contacting [2]SAAS who might be able to assist you. It may also be
worthwhile checking out [3]HESA –though they may not hold applicant
