1. Food policy for school lunch.
2. Food Policy for Lunch Boxes.
3. I would additionally like any supporting information you may have for both policies including dates when they were completed, when consultation was completed and dates implemented.

I note that the school has no published policies online with the rest of the policies, we have taken screenshots this week of the policies in place currently and available to view to the general public.

We have considered your request which was for:

1. Food policy for school lunch.

Food Policy for school lunch: School dinners are provided by Surrey
Commercial Services who adhere to the Government’s Nutritional Standards.

school, we have also asked Surrey Commercial Services to remove chocolate
items and fruit juice from the menu in line with our packed lunch policy. 

Food policy for lunch boxes: There is no requirement for schools to have a
formal lunch policy that is approved by the Governing Body.  The school’s
policy is drawn up bearing in mind Healthy Schools guidelines and is
communicated to parents via the newsletter and the school prospectus.  The
prospectus is available on our website.  Since September 2011, the packed
lunch policy has been referred to in newsletters on the following dates:

·         9 September 2011

·         14 October 2011

·         13 July 2012

·         7 September 2012

·         30 November 2012

·         7 December 2012

·         6 September 2013

·         29 November 2013

The two most recent newsletters are available on the school website.  I
attach copies of the remaining six newsletters.
