Aid Conditionality Documents

The request was refused by Department for International Development.

Dear Department for International Development,

could you please provide me with a list of all countries in which any host country authority/authorities signed conditionality agreements with DFID in the years 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013 (disaggregated by year).

Conditionality documents in this context refers to formal written documents setting out which political, economic and/or any other conditions a country is expected to meet in order to continue receiving some or all aid from DFID, in general and/or with reference to specific aid programmes and/or projects, both in the present (on-going flows) and in the future.

Please note that DFID has committed itself to placing such documents in the public realm by signing the Paris Declaration.

Yours faithfully,

Till Bruckner

Kudos to DFID for the quick initial acknowledgement of receiving the FOIA. Just getting this sort of basic confirmation off USAID once took me several months!
