I am writing to request an internal review of Rutland County Council's handling of my FOI request 'EMAS - Being the Best Consultation'.

By law I should have received a response from you by no later than the 8th February 2013 but to date I do not appear to have received a substantive reply.

I would therefore be grateful if you would both deal with my original request without further delay, and conduct a review into the handling of my request and the reason for the delay. I look forward to you advising me of the outcome of your enquiries.

Thank you for your reply dated the 14th February 2013 and for the attached information.

I have noted your apology for the delay in your response and also the fact that you do not plan to conduct an Internal Review as requested by me. However, the fact remains that your reply was not received until 3 days after the legal time limit for replying had expired, and no explanation has been offered as to why this delay happened.

I therefore look forward to hearing from you about this as soon as possible.
