Bus Stop Codes Comparison Sheet

The request was successful.

Dear Transport for London,

I sent you an FoI request with regards to Countdown Locations earlier this year (TfL Ref: FOI-0143-1213)and received a very helpful answer, which I have altered to create a useful spreadsheet that allows me to help users who are looking to find out whether their stop qualifies for a Countdown unit or not. I have been trying to compare the data you supplied to the data available in the public domain and it appears that the stop code you provided me is different to the stops codes you provide through other systems (such as searching for a bus stop).

For example, I am looking at Wardour Street OL which has a stop 52226, which this spreadsheet linked to below clarifies.

http://www.tfl.gov.uk/assets/downloads/c...

However, the bus stop codes I have for Wardour Street in the spreadsheets you supplied for the Countdown Locations do not include this. I have 20465, 831, 976, 830. The numbers supplied are different to the bus stop codes you use for searching for stops.

If we step away from the Wardour Street example, you will notice that the stop codes in the pdf below are different to the stop codes in the spreadsheet above, which makes searching for the exact stops difficult.

Please could I have a comparison sheet (in .xls format) that has the data for all of your bus stops displayed in the PDF linked to below and each stops stop code as per the codes you supplied me in my FOI that I asked for earlier this year.

The Columns Titles should look like this
Bus Stop Code (Five Digits 47001 – 77999)
Stop Name
Location
Street name
Point Letter
Borough
Stop Code (three to five characters as per previous FoI and Countdown spreadsheet)

Yours faithfully,
