Dear Lancashire Constabulary,

You have informed me in a reply dated 7 June 2012, see here: http://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/83..., “Following correspondence with the Information Commissioner, and in accordance with the Section 1(1)(a) of the Freedom of Information Act, I wish to confirm that with regards to the aspect of your request relating to the professional relationship between the Chief Constables of Lancashire Constabulary and Northumbria Police, no information is held.”

Under the FOIA 2000 and also all other rights of access I am requesting copies of all recorded information you hold concerning all contact between ICO and Lancashire Constabulary concerning this matter. Please ensure you include all written notes, records (including telephone notes, memos etc).

I write in connection with your request for information dated the 13/06/2012 which was received by Lancashire Constabulary on the 14/06/2012. I note you seek access to the following information:

COPIES OF CORRESPONDENCE WITH THE ICO RE A PREVIOUS FOI REQUEST

Your request will now be considered in accordance with the Freedom of Information Act 2000, known hereafter as ‘the Act’. You should receive a response within the statutory timescale of 20 working days as defined in the Act, subject to the information not being exempt or containing a reference to a third party. In some circumstances Lancashire Constabulary may be unable to achieve this deadline. If this is likely, you will be informed and given a revised time-scale at the earliest opportunity.

There may be a fee payable for the retrieval, collation and provision of the information you request. If this is the case you will be informed and the 20 working day timescale will be suspended until we receive payment from you. If you choose not to make payment then your request will remain unanswered.

Some requests may also require either full or partial transference to another public authority in order to answer your query in the fullest possible way. Again, you will be informed if this is the case.

The above 12th of July 2012 correspondence shows that the Cops (as is the norm) break the rules (and the law) and the ICO dig them out of the BIG hole they are in :-( SHOCKING and proof that both are in the pockets of the CORRUPT Home Office - www.martinmcgartland.co.co (lots of QT phone calls between cops and ICO ... you say this and we do that ... )

Please confirm if you have withheld, for whatever reason/s, any recorded information I have requested. I am not convinced that you have released all of the documents I have requested.

I also note that you have only released some of the recorded, requested information after ICO became involved and asked you to do so. The ICO appear to be going out of their way to assist you. The quicker the Cops, like MP's Bankers and the press, are investigated the better off the public. The corruption within the police all around the UK is endemic and out of control

regards." However, you have not answered my question, have Lancashire Constabulary withheld, for whatever reason, any documents or recorded information from me? You will recall that my request was for 'all recorded information'.
