This authority is not subject to FOI law, so is not legally obliged to respond (manylion).

Phone-paid Services Authority is not subject to the Freedom of Information Act 2000. It was renamed from PhonePay Plus in November 2016. PhonePay Plus voluntarily published a publication scheme and an email address for requests for information.

The ICO has ruled that the Environmental Information Regulations do apply to PhonepayPlus, so this type of information can be requested.

Phone-paid Services Authority are the UK regulator for content, goods and services charged to a phone bill.

The authority is appointed by Ofcom to regulate phone-paid services in the UK.

Phone-paid services are the goods and services that you can buy by charging the cost to your phone bill or pre-pay account. They include charity donations by text, directory enquiries, voting on TV talent shows and in-app purchases. In law, phone-paid services are referred to as premium rate services.

Requests can also be made to Ofcom which is subject to Freedom of Information law.
