Stagecoach Supertram is the operator of the 'Supertram' service in Sheffield, which is provided under a concession agreement ^[1] with the South Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive (SYPTE).

Stagecoach Supertram isn't subject to Freedom of Information, however we have listed it as we believe the company is subject to the Environmental Information Regulations (EIR).

Tramway companies have a number of special powers including powers of compulsory purchase. See also paragraph 52 to 56 of the ruling in Fish Legal v IC & Ors which considers the type of 'special powers' that mean a body is subject to EIR.

You may wish to consider whether the information you seek would actually be held by another body - such as SYPTE, or Network Rail and make a request to them instead.
