A body that is now defunct

The Railway Heritage Committee was a statutory body responsible for 'designating' historically important records/artefacts still within the ownership of the rail industry as needing permanent preservation.

On 1st April 2013, the committee was abolished and its role taken on by the Science Museum.

This authority no longer exists, so you cannot make a request to it.
