Independent Commission on Banking

A body that is now defunct

This authority is not subject to FOI law, so is not legally obliged to respond (details).

The commission appears to have ceased to exist after having made its recommendations. Material previously held by the commission has been passed to the treasury.

The Commission was asked to consider structural reforms to the UK banking sector that will promote financial stability and competition. The Commission stated that its final recommendations to the Government will be released on 12 September 2011.[1] The Banking Commission appears not to be subject to FOI.

This authority no longer exists, so you cannot make a request to it.
