The Institute maintains the statutory Register of Patent Attorneys. Through IPReg the Institute carries out the regulatory functions of setting and maintaining the standards of qualification for entry on the Register and maintaining a Code of Conduct. CIPA is not subject to the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
