Advertising Standards Authority

A regulator, also called ASA

This authority is not subject to FOI law, so is not legally obliged to respond (details).

The ASA is not subject to the Freedom of Information Act 2000 however it is included on this site because it carries out an important public functions which include the regulation of television and newspaper advertising. The ASA enforces codes set by BCAP and CAP.
