Your avoidance of use of mercury vapour measurements in amalgam illness you caused

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, Department of Health and Social Care should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear Department of Health,

The use of mercury vapour measurement to determine the level of toxic mercury input from dental amalgams has been well developed for several decades (as per scientific refs at http://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/se....

It is a cheap and easy process and gives instantaneous results with no need for trained personnel.

So why in seven years of trying to get the NHS to make honest diagnosis of my dental amalgam poisoning, have none of the many GPs, dentists, toxicologists or psychiatrists ever made any effort to measure my mercury vapour levels? But only put forth the pack of nasty anti-diagnostic falsehoods indicated at www.bit.ly/foihg

Why it is that mercury meters are used in private dental practices but never in any NHS ones? Because you are trying to callously prevent my honest diagnosis of the devastation you crooks have caused?

Utterly Disgusted,

Mr Clarke

Dear Mr Clarke,

Thank you for your correspondence of 2 November about measuring mercury
vapour.  I have been asked to reply.

You requested your correspondence to be treated under the Freedom of
Information (FOI) Act.  However, as your correspondence asked for general
information, rather than requesting recorded information or documentation,
I should advise you that on this occasion we have not considered your
correspondence under the provisions of the Act.

The small amount of mercury released from amalgam restorations, especially
during placement and removal, has not been shown to cause any adverse
health effects. It is not essential to measure mercury vapour as dentists
take special precautions when placing or removing amalgam fillings by
using extra water and suction.  This minimises the amount of vapour that
is released.

Extensive research has been done to investigate the effect of amalgam
fillings on health.  No harmful effects from amalgam fillings have been
found, and the World Health Organization and the Medicines and Healthcare
products Regulatory Agency support the continued use of amalgam fillings.

I hope this reply is helpful.

Yours sincerely,

Dear Department of Health,

"No harmful effects from amalgam fillings have been
found,"

By whom? It is criminally outrageous that you make that grossly misleading irresponsible statement when many distinguished scientists emphatically disagree with it for very good reasons.

I and expert others have already pointed out the bogusness of the claims that amalgam does not cause any systemic injuries. And the WHO back in February has disowned your latest excuse, the "WHO" 2009 Petersen report, for being a fraudulent propaganda concoction.

Your just repeating a lie enough times does not make it any truer.

Yours faithfully,

Mr Clarke

I was sorry to read of your continuing concerns about this matter.
However, the information given to you by my colleague in her previous
