Dear Sir or Madam,

Please provide details of all communications and discussions, from
January 1 2000 to the present day, pertaining to implementation of
the Imperial College Act 1999 (to unite Wye College with the
Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine). In this
respect, please provide details of all communications and
discussions with Imperial College, or with any other public or
private body, pertaining to higher education and research
activities at Wye.

Dear Ms. Braithwaite,

Thank you for your request for information, which was received on 17 May
2009. You requested details of all communications and discussions, from
January 1 2000 to the present day, pertaining to implementation of the
Imperial College Act 1999 (to unite Wye College with the Imperial College
of Science, Technology and Medicine). I have dealt with your request under
the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

Following a search of the Department's paper and electronic records, I
have established that no such communication or discussions were held with
Imperial College nor with any other private or public bodies. Therefore, I
can confirm that the information with the description you have requested
is not held by this Department.

If you have any queries about this emailed response, please contact me.
Please remember to quote the reference number I have given in any future
communications.

If you are unhappy with the way your request has been handled, you should
make a complaint to the Department by writing to me within two calendar
months of the date of this email. Your complaint will be considered by an
independent review panel, who were not involved in the original
