Wirral road casualty statistics for 2007 and 2008

Good Afternoon,
Thank you for your request for information below. Wirral Council has
the information for 2007, but the information for 2008 is currently in a
draft form only and is therefore exempt from the legislation.

Information is exempt from disclosure if the Public Body plans to
publish it at some point in the future, regardless of whether the date
for future publication has been determined.

Would you like me to process your request in relation to the 2007
information only? Please let me know and I will organise it.

Further to our earlier correspondence, I can now supply you with
the revised information you asked for in relation to 2007 and this is
attached in relationship to your request below.

"Please supply Wirral road casualty statistics for 2007 and 2008 for
(a) pedestrians killed, (b) pedestrians seriously injured, and (c)
pedestrians slightly injured, for each of the following age groups:
(i) 0 - 4 years, (ii) 5 - 10 years, (iii) 11 - 15 years, (iv) 16 -
18 years, (v) 19 - 59 years, and (vi) 60+ years.

Please also do the same for (A) cyclists, and (B) the totals of all
categories of road users."

Additionally, the data for 2008 should be available toward the end of
June 2009 and we can then submit this information to you, when it is
available.
