Why wasn't the name changed of Dyfed Powys police?

angie of the elder family made this Freedom of Information request to Dyfed Powys Police

Dyfed Powys Police did not have the information requested.

From: angie of the elder family

Dear Sir or Madam,

please provide the following information;

why is Dyfed Powys Police still called Dyfed Powys when to the best
of my knowledge the county of Dyfed no longer exists and is now
called Carmarthenshire?

Why was the name of Dyfed Powys police not changed when the county
name changes were made, what is the reason for this?

Is Dyfed Powys Police the trading name for the police force of
Carmarthenshire?

In sincerity and honour,

angie of the elder family

surely this is borderline vexatious. The force in question covers Powys, Carmarthenshire , Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion. The latter 3 forming the Ceremonial county of Dyfed. So why on earth would a name change be required?
