Dear Mr Lowe,
Further to your Freedom of Information Request, Log Number 76074, please
find below our response to your questions.
During the consultation for the Boughton Heath Roundabout, 1842 properties
were notified on 20/12/08 about the planning application, including
premises around the Boughton Heath road junction, Parish Councils,
internal and external consultees, the Highways Agency and the Council's
highways officer.
The application was refused by the Cheshire West and Chester Council on a
number of grounds, including highways grounds, but the appeal against this
decision was allowed by an Inspector appointed by the Secretary of State
for Communities and Local Government. Please find attached copies of the
Council's notice of refusal and the Inspector's appeal decision letter for
information.
