Which MPs' expenses were refused by the House of Commons Fees Office

Alan Leavy made this Freedom of Information request to Her Majesty’s Treasury

The request was refused by Her Majesty’s Treasury.

From: Alan Leavy

8 May 2009

Dear Sir or Madam,

I note that, “Claims are assessed and only paid out by the House of
Commons Fees Office if they believe they were within the rules and
that the MP is entitled to be paid out on that claim."

Could you please supply a list for 2005 - 2007 that details MPs'
claims that were refused, what they were for, for how much and for
which MP.

Yours faithfully,

A Leavy

Alan, the House of Commons Administration (and thus also the House of Commons Fee Office) are independent from the Treasury and other Government Departments, therefore the Treasury will not hold any information on this.

I suggest you re-submit your request to the House of Commons.

Best, Michael
